The Aramco Korea Championship is set to take place at New Korea Country Club in Seoul from 9-11 May, promising not only another thrilling showcase of elite-level women’s golf but also a vibrant off-course experience for fans under the newly announced PIF Global Series.

A star-studded field

A strong blend of South Korean talent and international winners will descend on New Korea Country Club for the 2025 event, previously staged under the Aramco Team Series banner. Leading the charge is defending champion Hyo Joo Kim, who returns to the site of her commanding three-shot victory last year, where she held off England’s Charley Hull.

Kim, who narrowly missed out on the season’s first Major at The Chevron Championship, will be joined by fellow South Korean star and former World No.1 Sung Hyun Park. A two-time Major winner, Park rose to the top of the world rankings in 2017 – the same year she was named LPGA Rookie of the Year – and has long been regarded as one of the most dynamic talents in women’s golf. Park is set to add further pedigree to the Aramco Korea Championship as she looks to recapture the form that once saw her dominate on the world stage.

England’s Mimi Rhodes, off the back of early season wins at the Joburg Ladies Open and Ford Women’s NSW Open, adds further firepower to the field, alongside recent champions Perrine Delacour (Investec SA Women’s Open) and Cara Gainer (Lalla Meryem Cup).

A vibrant fan experience

The Aramco Korea Championship will deliver a vibrant fan experience both on and off the course, with a range of engaging activities for spectators of all ages. From interactive golf zones and family-friendly entertainment to food and beverage offerings, fans can enjoy a lively atmosphere throughout tournament week. All spectators will receive a free Aramco Korea Championship hat, adding a special memento to their visit.

To celebrate Family Week, the event is making it even easier for everyone to attend: Under-16s go free, and a special Family Ticket will be available, allowing two adults to attend for the price of one. Spectator parking will be available via a Park & Ride system, with every General Admission ticket from Samsong Techno Valley Building which start from 09:30am until 16:30pmOn-site parking at NKCC will be reserved exclusively for VIP guests, so general admission ticket holders are advised to follow signage and guidance to the Park & Ride locations to ensure smooth access to the event.

The First Tee Korea initiative

The First Tee Korea initiative will run during tournament week, with 20% of ticket revenue from the event donated to the cause. Proceeds will support The Nine Values Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to empowering young people through golf by instilling core values, building character, and promoting healthy lifestyles. The foundation uses the sport to inspire hope and opportunity among children and youth across Korea.

A picturesque golf club with a rich history

New Korea Country Club is nestled in a prime location at the foot of Bukhansan – one of South Korea’s five sacred mountains – long regarded for its powerful energy and historical significance. Steeped in tradition, the prestigious club offers players a serene yet inspiring setting to experience the game surrounded by natural beauty and cultural heritage.
